Google’s IDE for Android development. The emulator is much more demanding than the editor alone.

windows requirements

Operating system: 64-bit Windows 10 or newer
Processor: 2017+ CPU microarchitecture with hardware virtualization
Graphics: Integrated graphics is sufficient for the IDE
Memory: 8 GB
Available storage: 8 GB

Windows ARM CPUs are not currently supported.
Android Studio plus Emulator needs at least 16 GB RAM and 16 GB free space; Google recommends 32 GB RAM and an SSD with 32 GB or more free.

Google is phasing out Intel Mac support; latest Apple Silicon is recommended.
